Based on the production technology of champagne corks, 1+1 technical corks have a homogeneous agglomerated cork body and two natural cork discs, one on each top, which will be in direct contact with the wine.
They have proved to be excellent closures over time. Mechanically, they behave in an exemplary manner in relation to the twisting they are subjected to during the bottling and uncorking phases. Chemically, they manage to maintain the concentration of SO2 in the bottle, preventing premature oxidation of the wines without developing unpleasant reduction aromas.
1+1 technical rolls
Sustainable bottling. Stable sealing.
1+1 technical stoppers have been designed as an alternative to natural stoppers at a fraction of the price. These stoppers allow the wine to come into direct contact with the natural cork and create the ideal atmosphere for the evolution of fruity wines or wines with floral notes for shorter periods of bottle ageing. This type of stopper is chemically very stable and mechanically very resistant.
